Have you been practicing a new dance step and have questions about how it should be done? Chances are you aren’t the only one.

Join us for our Ballroom Master Class being offered by Sergei and Olga Bezrodnov of Ballroom Dance Of NJ. Have all your questions dancing questions answered by professionals and get the opportunity to practice with their supervision and guidance.

  • 6.00 pm – 7.30 pm – Dance Class “Questions and Answers”
  • 7.30 pm – 9.00 pm – Practice supervised by Sergei & Olga

What you can learn: Dancers of all levels and interests are invited to the Master Class, which is designed to clarify areas where people may feel uncertain or need more practice. In addition to presenting information about technique and steps, Sergei and Olga encourage your questions about any aspect of ballroom dancing.

Admission Fee:

  • $20 paid in advance, no later than Saturday, February 25, 2012 or $25 walk-in.
  • Students with ID: $15 paid in advance or $20 walk-in.
  • Practice Social included for workshop participants or $10.00 for all others.

We have just discovered a hidden treasure in the heart of downtown Summit, which is a perfect, spacious Ballroom for Dancing!!!

We will be holding our First Gala Showcase of Ballroom & Latin Dance at the Elks Lodge in Summit, located at 40 Maple Street.

We have decided to move our First Gala Showcase from 2/12 to 3/11 to this beautiful space.

Everyone is invited to join us for a fantastic fun evening 5:00pm to 9:30pm, which will include showcase performances, general dancing, and a buffet dinner.

Be amazed by sensational showcase performances by professionals and talented amateurs featuring their elaborate costumes, props and choreography. Dance the night away to the Ballroom and Latin music that will be playing throughout the night.

We plan to do the following:

  • 5:00 – Open Door
  • 5:30 – 6:30 Buffet Dinner & General Dancing
  • 6:30 – 7:15 Showcase – Act One
  • 7:15 – 7:45 General Dancing
  • 7:45 – 8:30 Showcase – Act Two

Thank you for everyone who attended our Master Class tonight! Even though with the bad weather outside,  we managed to stay warm inside and had a very good classes! We discussed about position and connection, body weight and foot work, poses and frame. We danced Waltz, Tango and Quickstep basic and advance movements. And of course our practice session was helpful and everyone got to try and practice with what they just learned from two hours of Master Classes from Sergei and Olga Bezrodnov. We are looking forward to continiue our Master Class once a month to help you gaining your knowledge of dancing. We will be happy to work with any level of the dancers, and answer any your questions.  The main idea of this class -is to make you understand the fundamental of Ballroom Dancing with simplicity and quality!

Bonnie Schmelz – Didn’t miss a beat! she was competing two weekends in a roll with her Pro dance instructor Sergei Bezrodnov.  Of course results, results, results – 1-st places in all single dances in Open Gold , Open Gold Star level as well as  Adult Standard Open Scholarship “A”.  1-st place………. all the way!

Special congratulations to Nina Voroneckaia – First time in her life, Nina participated dance competition with Pro dance instructor Sergei Bezrodnov! And that was a absolutely successful story!  Great technical and physical preparation, nice dress, professional make-up and hair style – fabulous job! And she is only 13 years old! 1-st place in Newcomer and Bronze Level! Whole family came to support her and that was very enjoyable time for everyone :)
