Children's Group Classes from September 2020 - ONLINE & IN PERSON

Dear Parents & Young Dancers!

Time flies very quickly and school is starting again. We hope that you have already made decisions about your child's back to school plans and now time to think about Dance Classes for your kids!

From the month of September, we are resuming our group classes on Sunday morning. We will have small groups of 6-8 people maximum.

If you plan to bring your child to the studio, note that we will be conducting all of our studio classes according to CDC guidelines and NJ state and local regulations!

  • Masks must be worn

  • 6 feet social distancing during sessions

  • Proper hand-washing / sanitizing hygiene

  • We are asking for all parents to stay in their cars and DO NOT enter the premises of the building to limit the number of people in the building

SCHEDULE:

Schedule for GROUP CLASSES on Sundays starting from 09/06/2020 :

  • 10am to 10:45am - for 7 to 9 years old, Beginner/Intermediate Level for Ballroom & Latin

  • 10am to 10:45am - for 12 to 15 years old, Advance Level Ballroom section

  • 11am to 11:45am - for 12 to 15 years old, Advance Level Latin section

  • 11am to 11:45am - for 4 to 6 years old, Beginner/Intermediate Level for Ballroom & Latin

ABOUT ALL CLASSES - ONLINE or IN PERSON:

We will offer TWO options together at the same time, if you would like to participate in-person, you are very welcome, please just let us know in advanced! If you would like to participate in class through ZOOM that also will be available at the same time - simply use our ZOOM link and sign-in.

ABOUT PAYMENT:

For all our current students you are welcome to use our Activity Package Tickets. The Activity Package (formerly named - Convenience Package) - offers flexibility and allows you to take any Group Classes, enjoy Monthly Dance Socials, Weekly Practice Sessions or Children's Dance Recital / Talent Showcases at your convenience. NO EXPIRATION DATE. ALL TICKETS will be issued electronically.

Online Group Classes for Adult:

  1. Advanced Ballroom with Sergei & Olga - Wednesdays at 7:00pm

  2. Advanced Latin with Klaudia -  Tuesdays at 7:30pm

  3. Ballroom & Latin Fusion Class with Klaudia - Wednesdays at 7:00pm

  4. Ballroom & Latin Fusion Group Class with Klaudia!

    New session will start on Aug 5, 2020 to Aug 26, 2020.
    Every 4 weeks Klaudia will teach a new series of dances!

    From Latin dances like Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cha-Cha and Swing to Ballroom Dances like Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango and more will be featured in this class. Klaudia will also teach you how to do arm action and hip movement of each dance as well.

    You don't need a partner, the format will be similar to line dancing!
    Each Class will be 45 minutes from 7:00pm -7:45pm every Wednesday.

  5. Social Dancing Group Class for Couples! 

    This class is for beginners and intermediate levels and each class is limited to 8 couples so we can offer more personalized teaching. It will run for 4 weeks on Wednesdays at 8:00 pm - 8:45pm.

    New session will start on - July 29, 2020 to August 19, 2020
    Each class is two Activity Package tickets. Advance booking for entire 4 weeks is required.

We are introducing a new name for our Convenience Package. It will now be known as the ACTIVITY PACKAGE.

We decided to change the name of our popular Convenience Package to ACTIVITY PACKAGE effective now. All the benefits of this package remain the same:

  •  No expiration date

We are Opening!

Ballroom Dance of NJ are so excited to announce that we will be re-opening on Monday, July 13, 2020. We are offering Private lessons ONLY. Students who wish to take classes together must be from the same household. All Online classes are still available for you to enjoy.

Ballroom Dance of NJ will be operating at 25% occupancy at the studio and following CDC guidelines:

  • Masks must be worn

  • 6 feet social distancing during sessions

  • Proper Hand-washing hygiene

  • All lessons must be scheduled in Advance so we can properly monitor all occupancy level.

Everyone who would like to start Private classes must sign and submit Ballroom Dance of NJ’s COVID-19 Liability Release Waiver prior to your appointment. Electronic forms may be submitted online via this link https://www.ballroomdancenj.com/covid-19-liability-release-waiver. If you are not able to fill-out the form online prior to your appointment, we will have a device on-site for you use to complete it.

Ballroom Dance of NJ’s Guidelines for your appointment:

  1. Call us to make appointment – 908-838-9939.

  2. On the date of your appointment. Please read and sign Ballroom Dance of NJ’s COVID-19 Daily Agreement. This is a screening form for checking Temperature and COVID-19 Symptoms. If your temperature is over 100 degrees or you answer of “Yes” to any of our screening questions, you will not be permitted in the studio.
    We ask that all students fill out the form prior to coming to the studio. The electronic form may be submitted here: https://www.ballroomdancenj.com/covid-19-daily-agreement. If you are not able to fill out the form prior to arriving to the studio, a device will be available for you to use to fill out the form on-site.

  3. Temperature will be checked upon arrival by our front desk staff.

  4. Please wear your mask prior to entering the building.

  5. We will strictly follow CDC safety guidelines.

    • Face masks must be worn at all times.

    • Maintain 6-feet distance from all others. 

    • Practice hand hygiene - Wash hands for at least 20 seconds

    • Everyone must wash their hands with soap before and after their lessons.

    • Hand sanitizer will also be available throughout the building.

  6. All students must enter from the front of the building and exit from back entrance in the kitchen.

  7. Students may not arrive more than 15 minutes before their scheduled lesson and must depart within 15 minutes of the completion of the appointment.

The safety of our students and staff are our first priority as we welcome you back to our studio.

We created this Online class specially designed for couples and we hope that you and your loved one will join us!
